The Lamb Is Saying (Song(s) for Week 26)

The Lamb Is Saying

All the sicknesses that
I have visited upon Egypt
I will not visit upon you,
For I, the Lord, heal you.

Who is like You among the might ones,
G-d, who is like You, mighty in holiness,
Awesome in praise, worker of wonders.

I said that I would
Make an end of them
Eradicate their
Remembrance from mankind.

With a kind one, You show Yourself kind.
With an upright mighty man, You show Yourself upright.
You redeemed Your people with Your arm,
The sons of Jacob and Joseph forever.

He will call to Me,
You are my Father, my G-d,
And the Rock of my salvation.

And she said, "Please, my lord!
As surely as your soul lives, my lord,
I am the woman who was standing here
With you, to pray to the Lord.

And He said, If you hearken to the voice of the Lord,
Your G-d, and you do what is proper in His eyes,
And you listen closely to His commandments
And observe all His statutes,

His legs are [as] pillars of marble,
Founded upon sockets of fine gold,
His appearance is like the Lebanon,
Chosen as the cedars.

The kings came and fought;
Then fought the kings of Canaan
Where has your beloved gone, O fairest of women?
Where has your beloved turned, that we may seek him with you?

They came to Elim,
And there were twelve
Water fountains and seventy palms.
And they encamped there by the water.

The waters perceived You, O G-d,
The waters perceived You,
They trembled, even the deeps quaked.

They poured forth thick waters;
The skies let out a voice,
Even your arrows went abroad.

His palate is sweet, and he is altogether desirable
This is my beloved, and this is my friend,
O daughters of Jerusalem.
