Selichót

 Selichót

No meio

Da madrugada

Saio

Do quarto

Pra pedir

Perdão

Do oitavo

Ao térreo

Volto

Inteiro

Refletindo

Sua perfeição.

Give and Take

There was a time
When all I sought
Was simple pleasure

Which then evolved
To seeking more the
Spiritual kind

Now even that
Cannot compare
To one small measure

Of knowing that
I took Your Name
And made it mine.

I am the Place

In memory of Neely Snyder and in honor of her heroic husband, Joshua.

I am the Place

In which you sit
Life, vest,
Oxygen, mask.

I am the belt
Holding you tight
Buckling and
Unbuckling.

I am the seat
That makes you float
If you hug me
Against your chest.

I am the One
Who comforts you,
Pilot signaling
It's safe to stand.

Note: "The Place" (HaMakom) is one of G-d's names, used primarily in the words of consolation used in addressing those in mourning, "sitting Shivah": May the  Omnipresent (lit. "the Place") comfort you among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem."

Tenth Sense

The Song
Of Mashiach
Is simple,

Its sound
Is the beat
Of the heart.

Its smell
Is pure
Inspiration,

Its sight
Is the light
Of the sun.

Its taste
Is new and
familiar,

Its touch
Is a hug
Nicely done.

Landing Again

Landing Again
I am
Here now,
And have
A G-d.
For Him,
I still
Never
Had left.
I hope
One day
To feel
That, too.
